Spiritually speaking, is this proof God didn't create us?

Your question is invalid as you state incorrectly that we are only SLIGHTLY better than chimps. Last time I looked, chimps were still living in trees, could not talk, had not yet invented the wheel or mastered heavier than air transport or space travel or drive by restaurants or how to use a computer. I feel that we are significantly better.
